Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes what personal data posthuman.digital (operated by POSTHUMAN) collects, why we collect it, how we store it, and what your rights are. We aim for the minimum data we need to run the validator's public surfaces.
1. What We Collect
Newsletter subscriptions
When you submit the newsletter form on the home page or under any blog post, we store:
- your email address (lowercased);
- a randomly generated unsubscribe token;
- the source surface ("home" or "blog") so we can tell where signups came from;
- the timestamp of the submission.
The data lives in a Cloudflare D1 database (named posthuman)
bound to the Pages project that serves this Site. We do not store IP addresses, browser
fingerprints, or any other identifying metadata at the application layer.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep transient request logs (IP, user agent, request path, response code) for operational and security purposes. These logs are governed by Cloudflare's own privacy practices; we do not export them or use them for marketing.
Cookies
The Site itself does not set tracking cookies, does not use Google Analytics, does
not load Facebook/Meta pixels, and does not embed any third-party advertising
network. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for bot protection
(e.g. __cf_bm) — these are set automatically and used solely to
distinguish humans from automated traffic.
2. How We Use The Data
- Newsletter emails only. The address you submit is used to send POSTHUMAN-related updates: StakeDrop snapshots, validator launches, DAO briefings, AI School drops. We do not sell, share, rent or trade subscriber data.
- Aggregate analytics. We may look at non-personal aggregate counts (e.g. how many subscribers came from the home page vs the blog) to make product decisions. No data is enriched with third-party trackers.
3. Data Sharing & Sub-Processors
The Site relies on a small set of infrastructure providers ("sub-processors") that necessarily handle data in transit or at rest:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — Pages hosting, D1 database, DNS, edge networking.
- Email delivery — when we begin sending newsletter messages we will list the chosen provider here (none currently active; subscribers are stored only).
Our public source code repositories are hosted on GitHub, but no user data flows there.
4. Retention
Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. There is no automatic expiry. If POSTHUMAN ever winds down the newsletter, we will delete the subscriber table and notify subscribers via a final message.
5. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data (just resubscribe with the right address);
- Delete your record from the subscriber table;
- Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email validator@posthuman.digital from the address on record. We will action requests within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.
6. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a minor has subscribed, please email us so we can remove the record.
7. International Transfers
Cloudflare's edge network operates globally, so the data you submit may be processed in data centres outside your country of residence. Cloudflare publishes its safeguards for international transfers in its own Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via the newsletter or a blog post.
